Today, I show you some signs of Autumn that I photographed last Wednesday at Schuylkill Nature Center in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia.
This is the time of year I like to spot those first signs of the leaves changing color. And here are a few photos.
This bicolor leaf really caught my eye.
Whole branches are changing.
Tulip Tree (Liriodendron tulipifer)
All these leaves have stopped manufacturing food. The days are growing shorter.
If you haven't noticed the changing leaves or the dead migrating animals by the side of the road, try spotting all the signs of fall you can find.
And why not write them down in a journal. And let me know what you find.
